    "Gilstrap came out for an estimate for my aunt's roof. I called them right afterwards to give them my email address so they could send the estimate to me. After a week I called them back because I had never received the estimate. They told me the roof could not be repaired, only replaced. I told them we knew that. They were supposed to give us a quote to replace. She said they would send me the estimate. After over a week never received anything. I guess they don't want our business. This was going to be cash, no insurance. After posting this review I received a call from Brian. He had been out due to a death in his family. He sincerely apologized for taking so long. Within a week my Aunt had a new roof and loves it. She said they did a great job with the roof and especially the clean up. Thank you so much Brian!"

    "Our roof was 17 years old and was the original builder grade, three tab and we wanted to replace it before we had problems. We secured three estimates, Gilstrap was not the lowest nor the highest, but fell right in the middle. It was important to us to go with a "family owned" business that had an established, longstanding reputation. Brian Gilstrap did the quote for Gilstrap and his quote was very detailed and he answered all of my questions. The Gilstrap warranty was three years longer than the other two companies, and the shingles they were using was a step up from the other companies, so we decided to use Gilstrap. We are very happy with our choice. The men that did the job were quick, neat and experienced. The quality of the work was excellent. Marcos Gonzalez, the production manager for Gilstrap managed our roofing project. He came out twice during the install and came the next day to do a final inspection where he went onto the roof and examined the work and took pictures. Marcos also used a drone so we could see what had been done. The original crew used a magnet to pick up nails from our yard and then Marcos had another person come the next day to do it again. We did not ask for this but he said it was standard practice for them. We had one of our screens damaged during the removal of our old roof and during our final inspection Marcos took our screen to get repaired, no questions asked. The customer service was excellent, the quality of install was excellent, and the follow-up was excellent. We are so happy with our decision to go with Gilstrap. It is a huge decision when picking someone to do your roof and Gilstrap made it stress free and reinforced our decision to use a local, family owned business. Thanks Brian and Marcos for making us feel good and our home looking great."
