Reseñas de clientes

"We were referred to the Serveko Group by Réno Assistance. We had the roof shingles changed in June 2022. We had a water infiltration problem in January 2023 (already 8 months ago). We immediately contacted our insurance company, who sent disaster cleaners to clean up the damage in our house. They opened part of the wall and ceiling and removed mineral wool which had absorbed a lot of water. Our insurance company was already planning to repair this area, including the inside of a wall where the water had come down, but they told us that we would first have to find the cause of the water infiltration. water ourselves. Their specialist recommended that we wait until the snow melted to do a water test. In April, after the snow melted, we did a water test, which allowed us to find the source of the water infiltration. We found holes in the roof and there is one place where there is no square flashing. (We hired a building inspector and who confirmed this.) We contacted Serveko to have them fix the leak, but they still have not committed to fixing it. In fact, they told us that they would repair the roof if, and only if, our insurance company did not charge them the amounts required for repairs to the interior of the house. But what the insurance company will do is really not our responsibility… The roof is supposed to be guaranteed for 10 years, but I have the impression that we are going to have to pay again to have it repaired by someone else, because we cannot wait for winter (which risks being very snowy because of El Nino), and the stress that this causes us is starting to be too severe... Addition: In June, the foreman came to see the situation. We showed him where the water comes through the roof (where there is no square flashing). He said "that's a hole in the wall", as if we couldn't tell the difference between the wall and the roof. However, the roofer who did the emergency work on our roof at the request of our insurer did nothing in this section (he could not do a water test in January). The infiltration problem is not due to emergency work."
