We prefer to talk roofs, but since you asked, we'll be happy to tell you more about ourselves! MR Roofing was founded in 1994 by Melvin Petersheim in East Petersburg, Pennsylvania. Today it is owned by Leroy and Henry, two brothers who also own Stable Hollow Construction. Leroy and Henry purchased MR Roofing in 2010 when they realized the value and specialized skills the roofing contractor would bring to their existing construction and restoration company. MR Roofing has experience in many facets of the construction industry, but is a specialist in standing seam copper, standing seam steel, cedar shake, and asphalt shingle roofs. Stable Hollow Construction renovates barns and other special structures as well as building new barns, garages, and commercial buildings. Our crews love their job, and have good character and work ethic. Feel free to get to know them on a first name basis. We love our jobs, and we want you to love your roof! We know that having strangers on your property and noises pounding around overhead can be unsettling. We want to make your project as easy as possible for you. One way we do that is through professional communication throughout the project, so you know exactly what to expect. Our mission is to restore and preserve your valuable assets by helping you get the best roof possible for your specific building project. Your roof is our reputation-and we work hard to make sure both your roof and our reputation stand the test of time. MR Roofing follows a well-developed process for re-roofing homes and other buildings. Our experience and carefulness combined with top-quality materials results in a great experience for you. We will answer all your questions respectfully and professionally. Here is what you can expect as you work with MR Roofing. Your first interaction with MR Roofing will likely be filling out the contact form on this website or giving us a call. You choose. If your project is a good fit for us, we will do a complete on-site inspection. Based on our evaluation, we will give you our best recommendation for a solution. We will send your free estimate to review. If you'd like to do business with us, you'll approve the estimate. We will schedule your job and give you an estimated completion date. We'll start work by removing the old roof. Throughout the process we will protect your flower beds and keep the jobsite clean, using our Equipter Roofer's Buggy to catch and contain debris. If the project takes more than one day, before we leave for the night we'll make sure your roof is weather-tight and we'll tidy everything up. The roofing project continues. Our experienced crews will transform the roof with a combination of speed, quality, and expertise that will surprise you. You are welcome to get to know each crew member on a first name basis. Your completed roof will be great in both appearance and function, serving as a safe haven during all kinds of weather.

    "MR Roofing replaced my 21-year-old roof this spring. I was very pleased with the company. The salesman was very helpful when I was selecting the type and color of shingle for my roof. He showed me large panels of different-colored shingles so I could hold them up to the house to check the color with the stone on the exterior of my home. Other companies just showed me small 3" x 3" shingle samples. The salesman also took pictures of my house and emailed me a virtual roof shingle color visualizer tool that I used on my computer to check different shingle colors. Other companies did not provide this type of tool. The MR Roofing crew did an outstanding job replacing my roof. They were always professional and friendly. The quality of the work was top notch. Also, they were prompt every day. I knew that I could expect them at the same time every morning. In addition, the project manager and office staff provided clear information about when payments were due for the various stages of the work. They also sent timely receipts. I would highly recommend MR Roofing to friends and neighbors. I was very happy with the results."
