We do every type of roofing both steep (shingle, slate, metal, cedar shake) and low slope (single ply and built-up). Using a philosophy provided by our founder Charles "Buck" Ruff of "creating the standard by which others are judged."     "This morning on my way to work a Ruff Roofer pickup truck driving down 495 towards northern Virginia near the 270 split was behind me riding dangerously close. I mean, so close that I could only see headlights in the back window, within 24-36 inches of my vehicle I am in a government vehicle that is monitored by gps and can't go any faster than 5 over the posted speed limits. He then proceeded to turn his high-beams on, in an attempt to get me to speed up I presume. Which did nothing but blind me and forced me to drive slower as I could not see the roads, since it was around 5:45am and still dark. He followed like that for about 3 minutes and then finally zoomed from behind me, almost clipping my rear. I tried calling the number on the back of the truck with the the sticker number 032VL, but they no longer service this company… probably due to too many aggressive drivers. I was recently looking at using this company on my home in Baltimore for a roof replacement, but after this encounter, I couldn't in good conscience use them. Please talk to your workers and get them to slow down and drive a little less aggressively. Injuring or killing someone on the road can't be good for business…"
