    "Shiner did a terrific job on our unique project in Northern Virginia. Our older home was suffering from a leaky roof installed 20 years ago without proper ventilation. The Shiner team came up with a winning approach to solving our unique ventilation issues and installed a beautiful new (and properly vented) roof. The were quick and creative in solving the inevitable problems that show up once you peel the old roof off. They were also professional, courteous, neat, and efficient during the day of installation.     "Shiner replaced our 35 year old aluminum siding and wrapped our trim. They made the replacement of our siding a pleasant experience. From review of initial requirements, estimates, actual replacement of siding and cleanup, we were impressed with the friendliness, professionalism and expertise of the Shiner team. We love the results of the finished project and the house looks new. Of course, a project like this requires time (6 days in our case) and one needs to understand that workers will pretty much take over the outside of the house to install the new siding which requires working long hours and hammering nails. The team was very polite when my wife and I would periodically ask questions regarding installation and tweaks to the original plan. The team was always prompt, arriving each day at the agreed to time and, at quitting time, cleaning up before leaving. Upon completion of the installation, the team did a final cleanup including picking up any debris. We highly recommend Shiner Exteriors."

    "I met with Bill to get an estimate for some roofing repairs and gutter work we needed. One aspect that I really appreciated is that Bill went up on the roof to look around where a previous company did not. Since our roof is high off of the ground I don't know how an assessment can be made without going up on it. We had an inspection report but I thought it would be helpful to have another set of expert eyes to look over everything. Bill offered great suggestions on our gutter issues as well. Once we signed the contract with Shiner everything fell into place. The work was completed as scheduled and Shiner communicated throughout the entire process in terms of timing of work as the roofing work was completed by a different crew than the gutter work. After the work was completed we were emailed photos of the work areas which is, of course, very helpful since we could not view the areas from the ground. Overall it was a very seamless, professional operation. I would use Shiner again without hesitation."
